Select tube OD and material, then verify tolerance and insertion requirements. Tube ID is not the size reference for a push-in connection.
Choose the circuit geometry
Use port connectors at equipment, unions between tubes and bulkheads at cabinet walls. Leave access to the release collar for servicing.
Separate connection from control
DHVFF adds manual shut-off; DLSA and SL add flow control. For speed control, specify the flow direction and meter-in or meter-out requirement.
Check the complete circuit
Confirm working pressure, vacuum duty, temperature and medium for the fitting and tube together. Specify the port thread and sealing arrangement separately.
Selection questions.
Should I order by tube OD or ID?
Use tube outside diameter for push-in fittings. Also specify material and verify dimensional tolerance and surface condition.
Which fittings pass through a panel?
DPM is the bulkhead straight union for joining two tube lines through a panel. Confirm the mounting-hole diameter, panel thickness, tube size and locknut clearance.
Is a swivel elbow a rotary union?
Use the orientation feature to route tubing during installation. Confirm continuous rotation or repeated movement separately; a swivel fitting must not be assumed to be a rotary union.
Can I use the tube’s higher pressure rating for the assembly?
